    She brings over seven years of experience across public accounting and global finance, having worked at PwC, EY, Goldman Sachs, and BNY Mellon. Throughout her career, Christin has led international teams, delivered full-cycle financial reporting and tax engagements, and supported clients through complex operational and financial challenges. Her background blends deep technical expertise with a warm, people-focused advisory style.

    As a Certified Public Accountant, Christin specializes in tax strategy, small-business accounting, and year-round financial guidance. She is committed to helping clients gain the clarity and confidence they need to make informed decisions and achieve long-term financial peace.

    Christin holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and studied Economics and Public Policy at Duke University.

    Susan Spring, CPA, is a partner at Rooted in Finance and a seasoned accounting professional with deep expertise in audit, financial reporting, and process improvement.

    She brings over 20 years of experience across public accounting and local small-businesses, having began her career at EY and later expanding to several local Florida accounting firms. Throughout her career, Susan has developed a strong foundation in audit, internal controls, and technical accounting, working closely with individuals and small businesses to provide accurate financial reporting, audit readiness, and year-round advisory support.

    As a Certified Public Accountant and Six Sigma Black Belt, Susan is passionate about helping clients transform their financial operations. She excels at cleaning up complex books, improving workflows, and creating processes that bring clarity, structure, and long-term efficiency to a business’ financial foundation. She is committed to delivering clients thoughtful, reliable guidance to improve operations and reporting processes.

    Susan earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Iona College and currently holds a CPA license in New York, Florida, and Texas.
